En Plein Air Painting Competition 2025
The 8th Plein-air festival was held on 19th, 20th and 21st June 2025. ArtREGEN was delighted to welcome 29 artists to Pontypool over the three days of the competition.
Artists were required to register with ArtREGEN after 9.00am and complete and return their painting(s) before 4.00pm on the same day. We think you will agree that the standard of this year's paintings is outstanding, particularly given the artists coped with a heatwave on the first two days and rain on the third! The photos don't do the paintings justice, so please visit the exhibition in Pontypool Museum (details below).

NB: All of the paintings are on exhibit in Amgueddfa Torfaen Museum, Pontypool, until the end of August. The Museum opens 10am - 4pm on Wednesdays and 1 pm - 4.pm on Saturday afternoons. Please contact the Museum if you are interested in purchasing any of the paintings.
