We are excited to announce that well-known local group, Casbah, will be playing all your favourite songs in the Courtyard of Amgueddfa Torfaen Museum in Pontypool (or in the gallery if it rains) from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm on Saturday, 20th September. Come along and join in. Why not get up for a dance if you feel so inclined!
Wet weather contingency plans are in place, so this event will go ahead, whatever the weather!

Get into the festive spirit! Come along and join in with all your favourite carols and Christmas music, accompanied by The Salvation Army brass band, in the courtyard of Amgueddfa Torfaen Museum Pontypool. Hot drinks and refreshments available.
Free Entry, but donations to ArtREGEN gratefully received.

Junior painting competition June 2026
artREGEN and Amgueddfa Torfaen Museum are delighted to invite young artists to take part in a free children's painting competition in the courtyard of the museum, Pontypool, on Saturday 27th June 2026 from 1:00pm until 4:00pm.
Children aged 15 and under are welcome to enter and create their artwork on site. Throughout the event, artREGEN's resident artist, Mary James, will be available to offer advice and assistance to participants if required.
The competition will be judged on Sunday 28th June 2026. Winners will be announced via social media.
All paintings will be exhibited in the museum for two months following the competition. A selection of artworks will then be chosen for a further exhibition in the Folly Tower.
We look forward to welcoming young artists and their families for an afternoon of creativity and fun.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
